Changing and Moving Forward

Anyone that is a fan of movies has seen movies evolve over the years and has seen the techniques used to make movies change and move forward at a very fast pace. It is not a coincidence that as computer technology advances then so does the technology used to make movies as the two technologies are usually one and the same.

A Movable Feast – Paris on Satellite TV

Paris is a place that inspires dreams and ignites ambitions. It is a city steeped in history and culture, a center of enlightenment and romance. Like many young Americans who are lucky enough to have such an opportunity, I spent a year living and studying in Paris.

Top 5 Giant Beast Movies on Satellite TV

In the early days of cinema, creative directors spent a lot of effort trying to achieve special effects without the aid of computer rendering and digital action. They quickly discovered that perspective was a great resource, and that very small things could be made to look very large (or vice versa, of course). There was no such thing as high definition, but there were other ingenious advances in filmmaking.

You can best believe he will! Now, here’s another one. Another person in denial and needs God in her life, just like Octo-Mom. There’s no such thing as one punch! No doubt she needs counseling.

Pimp My Ride is one of the greatest reality shows ever produced. It falls into a whole sub-category of the reality genre; the fix-’em-up type shows. This category includes personal makeovers and wardrobe revolutions, house design and interior decorating.

Orlando Bloom debuted in the year 1997 as a rent boy in the film Wilde. And just two days after his graduation at Guildhall, he took one of his most popular movie roles to date, Legolas from Lord of the Rings trilogy. This would not have happened if he got the role he auditioned for, the role of Faramir, who becomes part of the story only on the second part.

Living their lives in complete selfishness probably is why most of us relate to the show so well. They are joined by an array of eccentric supporting cast such as Uncle Leo, Newman, J. Peterman, Frank and Estelle Costanza, the Soup Nazi and countless others. The shows shows how very boring lives can become very comical with a little imagination.

“Goddess Remembered” – A Film Reflection

This documentary pays homage to the goddess-worshipping religions of the ancient past. With its dinner-party format, I was expecting Judy Chicago to make an appearance. It would have been great to see each woman – Starhawk, Merlin Stone, Jean Bolen and others – sitting at the place setting of a goddess. Back in 1979, Chicago had depicted place settings for 39 mythical and historical famous women throughout history.
