James Bond and Math- Two of a Kind

Anyone who has watched any of the classic James Bond movies, particularly the earlier ones like “Diamonds are Forever” with Sean Connery, and “Live and Let Die” with Roger Moore, knows that the man with the plan, namely Agent 007, was beyond cool. He could woo the beauties like no other, defend himself in any of a dozen ways, get out of the tightest spots imaginable, and adapt comfortably to any situation, whether this find him trapped in a sewer with rats, or cavorting in a tuxedo while attending the latest royal function. “A River Runs Through It” Is a Good Film With a Bad Message That Develops Slowly

A River Runs Through It is based on a true story about the relationships in a family of two brothers with a Presbyterian minister for a father, a love for fly fishing they all enjoy, and a stay-at-home mom. This movie is a guy’s film if for no other reason than it is without doubt the greatest movie on fly fishing ever filmed. Ultimately we are presented with one brother’s warped values as he slowly and willfully self-destructs. All of the truly wonderful fly-fishing adventures do not offset the destructiveness of the script’s end result.

The general public did not know what film was arriving at the local theatre and this was a way of doing it.

Is Denzel Washington Becoming Our New-And-Improved Robert Mitchum?

Is Denzel becoming our new-and-improved Robert Mitchum? I mean, I forgot the number of times I have watched him in one law-enforcement role or another, and usually as a cop or a police detective… Or is he already typecast to such a degree that he ends up playing more and more of such roles?
