Novi Home Theater Systems – For Ultimate Movie Experience

If you want to recreate the movie experience in your home, there can be nothing better than Novi home theater systems. These systems will save you the trouble of going to a movie hall, buying tickets for you and your family as well as trying to look over the person in front of you if he is tall. On top of that, trying to concentrate on the movie in the midst of incessant chatting of other people around you and getting a nauseating feeling if your seat is too near the screen are other things to deal with.

Special Effects Part 1, 1890’s-1940’s

Have you ever wondered how filmmakers create those incredible special effects that can turn an above average film into an academy award nominee? Well I have, so I did some digging and here’s what I turned up. The origin of special effects (SFX) can be traced back to Swiss photographer Oscar Gustave Reijlander (1813-1875) who in 1856 edited sections of thirty-two different negatives to create a single image, this was an early example of trick still photography.

Sucker Punch Blu-Ray Review

It infuriates me that Sucker Punch has been universally demonised in the mainstream press for being the one thing that it clearly isn’t and anyone with a modicum of intelligence will appreciate that this is not a movie that sets out to further objectify or exploit women. Unfortunately such vehement negative press will undoubtedly put a lot of people off seeing it and drawing their own conclusions and this worrying trend in film criticism is tantamount to censorship in my opinion. So why was Sucker Punch so reviled?

Movie Review: Horrible Bosses (2011)

A satisfyingly humorous premise and likeable characters keeps Horrible Bosses entertaining for an admirable stretch of the picture, but the energy and hilarity steadily run out as the film barrels towards the expected conclusion. The comedy elements do succeed thanks to the variety and timing of the talent at hand, though the styles of the three leading men tend to clash more often than they derive exponentially funnier gags. The “horrible bosses” also start with evil exuberance, but their potential feels squandered.

Loosely based on the true experiment undertaken by a history teacher in the USA during 1967 which was then written as a book, the film follows unorthodox high school teacher Rainer Wenger (Jurgen Vogel) as he is forced to teach autocracy rather than his preferred choice of anarchy during a school project week in modern day Germany.

Reviewed: Transformers: Dark of the Moon [2011]

Our summer of sequels continues with the Transformers returning to the big screen with their third outing. After the rather disappointing Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen I have to say that my hopes were not particularly high for this one. Dark of the Moon is set several years after the second movie where Sam (Shia LaBeouf) is struggling to get a job and return his life to normal and yet this still hasn’t stopped him from bagging the most attractive girl in the city-…
