A Clockwork Orange (1971, Stanley Kubrick)

More than four decades after its release, A Clockwork Orange is a legendary spotlight of the movie history. Unfortunately, the authors had a lot of troubles until the movie was properly understood.

8 Benefits of Television Productions

Television production companies play an important role in ensuring good television programs. Not all television watching is a waste of time; according to research, certain programs generate many benefits for all. Previous studies discovered that looking at still images depicting nature has the capacity of lowering muscle tension and blood pressure.

Katie Holmes Back to Work and Living Life Without Tom

When Tom Cruise infamously professed his love for Katie Holmes by jumping on Oprah Winfrey’s couch, the scrutiny began. People began predicting how long the relationship would last, though many admittedly were rooting for the photogenic couple, especially after the birth of their daughter Suri. Unfortunately, the marriage ended very suddenly just five years after it had begun.

Massacre of the Innocents

Genuine shock and awe for a television series is no easy feat in this day and age of media saturation and it seems producers nowadays will go to any lengths, as seen in the bloody penultimate episode of Game of Thrones, Season 3. It might even be a seminal moment in television history; yet not for obvious reasons.

The War on Death: “World War Z”

“World War Z” has what it takes to be one of the most exciting zombie movies to come out in years. Where the standard zombie film has blood and gore in place of characters and sometimes even plot, “World War Z” manages-for almost the first time since “28 Days Later”-to bring real excitement and adventure to the genre. Real suspense and authentic terror leap out from every corner of this film, and it’s worth it to take a close look at the makings of the film, if only to encourage other filmmakers to follow the fine example that’s finally been…

Girls: Season One

I’m in love with Girls! HBO’s Girls is an addictively good show created and written by Lena Dunham, who also stars. I didn’t know much about the show except that Lena was a multi-talented lady who had a program on HBO. I rented the first season and watched it nonstop. As soon as I returned the box set, I was haunted by the thought of wanting to watch it again. I waited a full weekend and on Monday morning, I became the proud owner of Girls: Season One on Blu-ray. It’s a very real and relevant portrayal of life for a group of twenty-something ladies, each with her own perspective. There are some scandalous and in your face scenes, (so be advised that this is probably not a show that you would want youngsters watching) but there are also lighthearted and some genuinely tender moments. While I love every episode, these are some of my favorites:

Unlawful Entry (1992) Movie Review

Unlawful Entry is a 1992 crime thriller film directed by Jonathan Kaplan. Kurt Russell, Ray Liotta, and Madeline Stowe star in this intense film. The movie revolves around a couple that befriends a policeman who they know nothing about or his intentions. The psychotic lonely cop starts targeting the couple and becomes obsessed with the wife.

Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn Share On-Screen and Off-Screen Chemistry

From the first time they costarred in a motion picture, it was clear to film viewers that Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn share an on-screen chemistry that can only be based on true friendship and not something cooked up in Hollywood. As a matter of fact, some have gone so far as to call Wilson’s and Vaughn’s relationship a “bromance.” In their first film together, 2005’s “Wedding Crashers,” Wilson and Vaughn, 44 and 43 respectively, play friends who show up uninvited at weddings in hopes of picking up women who…
