Movie Review of One Day

As a rule, people generally walk out of a movie with a pretty clear idea of how they felt about it: either it was outstanding, a complete waste of time and money, or, the vast majority of the time, simply 90 minutes of average entertainment. The problem I am having with this particular film is that, even 24 hours later, I STILL don’t know what to think of it.

Analogue to Digital TV Signal Transmission Migration

Analogue TV transmission platform has been in use for several decades now enabling broadcasters to air their programs and viewers to watch their favorite TV shows. Despite being popular for such a long time, analogue platform is limited in terms of features and the quality of signal reception hence the need for a better technology. There has been a lot of excitement after several countries decided to migrate from traditional analogue TV signal transmission to digital terrestrial platform.

Les Memoirs!

Let me tell you a story. This is a movie that I watched recently. The one who made this movie made it after he met some people in his life who were almost in the similar situation. This story is not just a creation or a mere illusion. It is only a painting of nothing but the reality of life. It was made only for those people who are suffering from this kind of problems in the real world, for all those parents who have children of this kind, for all those people who have friends like this in their life.

Who Is The Best Dracula – Lee or Lugosi?

Count Dracula has always been one of my all time favourite movie monsters. Many actors have played Bram Stoker’s notorious bloodsucker over the years, each bringing their own special personality to the part. However, of all these actors, there are two men in particular who have, for me, really stood awesomely tall above all the rest: Bela Lugosi and Christopher Lee.

The Adjustment Bureau – Movie Review

Science, philosophy or religion – none has ever been able to put a full stop over questions raised on fate and free will. This movie, The Adjustment Bureau, explores the ever interesting topic, our ability to decide our own fate. This fast paced brainy thriller is also probably the most romantic movie of recent times.

New Fall Show Superlatives

Lots of new shows make their debut every year. How can you possibly sort through them all? Fear not, dear reader, I am here to help. For every show that earned a superlative, I have provided a link to that show’s trailer. Not every new show will be addressed here, but this column will provide you with some shows you should be excited to watch, and some shows you should avoid like a crying woman. Without further adieu, let’s hand out some superlatives.

Movie Review: Johnny English Reborn

It has been eight years from the time when English was first seen, and a lot of things have taken place since then. Fired and disgraced following a failed mission in Mozambique, he has been utilizing a monastery in Asia as a physical-training and spiritual retreat.

Movie Review: Real Steel

In “Real Steel,” Shawn Levy’s feature-length version of “Steel,” which is an episode of the Twilight Zone, a pugilist retires and makes a transition to the business side of the ring after robotic boxers replace humans. At the time when the sport of boxing was forever changed, Charlie Kenton, who is played by Hugh Jackman, was fighting for the title. Now, in place of humans fighting for the masses, enormous, powerful robots of steel exchange blows in the ring.

Starscream – The Disloyal Transformer

In both ranks of the Transformers, all feared the one warrior who had no honor: Starscream. Even the mighty and relentlessly dangerous Megatron would never be described as treacherous; this was an attribute that Starscream wore as snugly as his Cybertronian skin. He was the robot-equivalent of insatiable; willing to stoop to any depth to gain power, and often challenged Megatron himself – although never face-to-face when both were at full power.

Optimus Prime – The Noblest Warrior

The Autobot leader Optimus Prime is on par with DC Comics’ Superman when it comes to having a characteristically noble mythos. Although Optimus has had many reinventions since his inception in the 1980s, this remains his overriding quality; that of a natural-born leader with surety of thought and action in battle and deep contemplation in peace.
